Operational simplicity

Each user operation is called from a simple two-level menu system.

Each user can be assigned a set of permissions which effectively tailors the menu system to that individual user. This means that a user will not be confused by the appearance on their screens of functions which they are not authorised to use.

All functions, including housekeeping functions can be called from the menu system, so that the user is totally isolated from the complexities of the operating system. No special computer expertise is required to use the system.

Security

Each user has an individual password. The system recognises the user and is able to enable or disable each available function according to permissions set by the systems manager.

The system provides audit trails at two levels.

All transaction processing activities are captured on a printed audit trail.

There is also a system audit trail which shows what each user has been doing, giving the times and other details.

Equipment

The package is available on most ranges of equipment, including Personal Computers, PC Networks, most Unix platforms, VAX, and many others.

Volumes and expenses

There are no constraints regarding the number of agreements that can be handled by the system, and the same software runs on both single user PC equipment and much larger equipment supporting many users. So the evolution from a small to a large system is painless.
